Position Purpose : The Outpatient Clinic Supervisor is responsible to assume the role of working supervisor in a clinical and / or administrative capacity under the direction of the Manager of Clinical and Practice Operations : supervise day-to-day functions of the office and clinic staff to provide clinical / administrative support to ensure an efficient workflow.
Essential Functions Supervise staff and oversee day-to-day clinic functions and operations. Works with multidisciplinary team to carry out successful clinic operations.
Determining work schedules to ensure adequate staffing; creates and manages schedules for a team of 4+ clinical support staff.
Provides training, including clinical documentation to ensure completeness, consistency, and quality documentation. Effectively communicates clinic expectations and policies / procedures to supervises to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Supports staff development through trainings to increase access and quality of care. Participates and provides input on performance improvement on an ongoing basis.
Consults with the manager regarding employee and workplace concerns. Reviews responsibility reporting data to keep track of budget.
Keeps inventory and orders supply of immunizations through IDPH and CDPH program as well as keep up-to-date inventory. Responsible for proper storage of immunizations.
