Sandblast Operator

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Beader to join our team. This role involves responsibilities similar to a sand blaster, focusing on the precise cleaning and preparation of metal materials.

The ideal candidate will have experience with glass beading, power washing or sand blasting, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a steady workflow.

Key Responsibilities :

• Machine Setup : Set up and calibrate glass beading machines according to specifications.
• Glass Beading : Perform glass beading on various metal materials to clean burrs, remove surface imperfections, and prepare surfaces for further processing.
• Material Management : Accurately clock in material usage, track inventory, and maintain detailed records of work performed.
• Efficiency : Maintain an efficient work pace, ensuring timely completion of tasks while adhering to quality standards.
• Safety Compliance : Use a forced air respirator system to ensure safety and compliance with health standards. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on glass beading equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Qualifications :

• Experience : Previous experience with glass beading or sand blasting is preferred.
• Independence : Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Safety Awareness : Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of respirator systems.
• Physical Stamina : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods and handling heavy materials.
