Electrical Tools Application Engineer starting as a 12-month contractor that could go permanent for a company I represent in Palm Bay, Florida.

This is a Federal Contractor as they make radios and other communication devices for the Military and 1st Responders.

Pay Rate :

$40 to $50.00 per hour

What You Need to Bring to the Table :

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
• Six to eight years of experience
• Siemens EDM and the Xpedition tools suite including Valor, Hyperlynx, Valydate, etc. in addition to Downstream Blueprint software, legacy Cadence Allegro, and others.
• PCB and / or FPGA design tools on Windows Platform.

What You Will be Doing :

• Printed Circuit Design Engineering is seeking an electrical tools application manager, interfacing with Information Technologies (IT) and hardware engineering on the deployment, integration, maintenance, and support of electrical engineering design tools on Windows platform.
• Successful candidate will be viewed by the engineering community as a competent user of PCB and / or FPGA design tools.
• Role involves interfacing with IT and supplier applications engineers for electrical tools installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting across enterprise-wide environments for electrical engineering communities while also providing applications support for end users.
• Common tools include Siemens EDM and the Xpedition tools suite including Valor, Hyperlynx, Valydate, etc. in addition to Downstream Blueprint software, legacy Cadence Allegro, and others.
