Product Manager - The Chefs' Warehouse

About the Role :

Key Responsibilities :

Product Ownership : Take full responsibility for your product area, from initial research and ideation through to design, documentation, communication, and prioritization.

Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment but maintain ownership over the end-to-end product lifecycle.

Data-Driven Innovation : Work closely with the data team to analyze user behavior, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovation.

Use data to inform decision-making and prioritize features that will deliver the highest impact.

User Experience Enhancement : Continuously analyze user feedback and behavior to identify opportunities for improving the customer experience.

Focus on increasing product discoverability, order frequency, and customer engagement through intuitive design and functionality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align product strategies with business goals.

Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the product development process.

  • Feedback Loops : Establish and maintain channels for receiving feedback from customers and sales reps. Use this feedback to inform product development and improve overall service.
  • Test & Learn : Utilize the platform to test new ideas with subsets of customers, refining strategies based on real-world results to drive continuous improvement.
  • Prioritization : Define and manage the product roadmap, balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
  • Communication : Clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Innovation : Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, exploring new ways to enhance our platform and differentiate us from competitors.
  • Problem Solving : Proactively identify and address challenges, finding creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Continuous Improvement : Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on features to deliver ongoing value.

Qualifications :

  • Proven Experience : 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in the e-commerce or foodservice industry.
  • Strong Analytical Skills : Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills : Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • User-Centric Mindset : Passion for understanding and advocating for the needs of users.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to identify and resolve challenges effectively.
  • Collaborative Spirit : Experience working cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.
  • Technical Aptitude : Familiarity with web technologies and data analytics tools is a plus.
