Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient plant operation to meet production demands while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and cost control.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer requirements
- Manage plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and shipping / receiving
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve plant performance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Optimize processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
- Lead and develop plant staff through coaching and training programs
Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience as a Plant Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams
- In-depth knowledge of production management principles and best practices
- Experience in implementing lean manufacturing techniques is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Proficient in MS Office suite and ERP systems
