JOB OVERVIEW
The role of the Creative Operations Manager is to enhance workflow efficiency within our graphics department. Collaborating closely with the Creative Operations Director and the Graphics Design Director, they will oversee the day-to-day activities, execute processes, and tackle challenges alongside the Creative Operations Team.
Additionally, they will track project progress and team dynamics, providing regular reports to Creative Leadership. Lastly, they will play a pivotal role in driving the execution and optimization of cross-brand processes within the Creative Operations Team.
This position reports to the Creative Operations Director and allows you the flexibility to work from your home office in addition to being based out of our Irvine office.
As the Creative Operations Manager, you will have an opportunity to :
Coordinate and manage the execution of creative projects (for multiple brands) from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Coordinate with the Creative Operations Director to intake projects and allocate project resources such as staff, equipment, and budget.
Oversee the execution of day-to-day processes and workflows to improve the efficiency of creative teams, reducing bottlenecks and maximizing productivity.
Own and execute all cross-functional project workflows for all brands from kickoff to execution. Leading and partnering Creative Ops Leads to facilitate collaboration between creative teams and other departments within the organization to ensure alignment on timelines, resources and project objectives and deliverables.
Oversee budgets in collaboration with Creative Operations Leads, tracking expenses and making strategic decisions to optimize resource allocation and control costs in collaboration with Creative Operations Director and other Budget Stakeholders.
Own and oversee systems for asset management, project management and process.
Monitor and report on KPIs related to creative operations, such as project timelines, resource utilization, and take corrective actions as needed to address any issues
Provide day-to-day support to creative operations team, fostering a collaborative work environment with a focus on continually evolving the creative process.
Overseeing Creative Operations for more than one brand and identifying Creative Operation resourcing needs based on preestablished KPIs with Creative Operations Director.
You have :
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
7+ Years experience managing creative and / or graphics teams
- Experience creating and evolving creative process
- Expert level knowledge in project management software
- Experience overseeing and managing robust Digital Asset Management Systems
- A strong understanding of design, graphics and graphic production on physical products
