Position : Help Desk Technician Location : Arlington, VA
Job Id : 1153 # of Openings : 0 TIAG is now hiring a Help Desk Technician to join our team onsite in Arlington, VA. Candidates must possess an active Secret Clearance to be considered.
The Technician will, under direct supervision, provide support to end-users for PC, server of mainframe applications and hardware.
Additional responsibilities include :
- Interact with network services, software systems engineering and / or applications development to restore service and / or identify and correct core problems
- Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties
- Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems
- Refer more complex problems to appropriate personnel
Required Experience :
- Minimum of associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant IT Technician and Help Desk experience
- Knowledge of remote access software, Office Automation Software Suites and a high level of expertise with Operating Systems and Networking
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, among the customers base and Help Desk management
- Experience working with PC software and troubleshooting; understanding of the military community is an added plus.
- Experience using Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Products
- IAT Level II certification
- Active Secret Clearance or current interim
