Role Description
This is a full-time position located onsite (West Des Moines, Iowa) in a small business, collaborative environment. The logistics, marketing, and sales associate is a multifaceted role involving warehouse operations focused on shipping and receiving of aviation parts as well as the purchasing and selling process for a diverse, robust inventory.
A logistics background and / or aviation experience is preferred, but not required.

Global Aviation Resources (GAR) serves the domestic and international aviation market in purchasing, repairing, and selling of aircraft components.
Headquartered in West Des Moines since 1997, we provide high demand, niche products for a worldwide customer base. GAR is an ASA Certified and EASA Certified organization.
Role Responsibilities
Logistics :
- Support shipping, receiving, and inspection of aviation units in on-site warehouse.
- Attention to quality assurance standards and procedures when shipping, receiving, and inspecting units.
- Follow documentation while examining parts for quality and rejecting parts that do not meet compliance standards.
- Log all aviation units into database complete with photography and unit labeling.
- Conduct bi-annual audits, inventory counts, and certification to meet compliance standards.
- Oversee operations and maintenance of warehouse and organization of aviation parts within warehouse.
Marketing and Sales Support :
- Research the market for competitive pricing of aviation parts and assist with purchasing.
- Quote and sell aviation parts to international customer base.
- Build business relationships with customers and vendors.
- Create sales and purchasing progress reports and send promotional marketing materials.

- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in supply chain management, business, or logistics is preferred.
