Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, or "CRMC", is a 25-bed, non-profit, critical access hospital serving Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma since 1949.

As a rural hospital, CRMC is surprising because of its large size and wide variety of services. Although we can provide many of the same services you will find in a big city, we take great pride in our friendly and caring staff.

The IS Network Administrator manages the CRMC network infrastructure by monitoring the network performance; performing testing to diagnose issues and assisting with solutions deployments;

performs routine updates and maintenance tasks; and oversees the overall security of CRMC information systems and data.

JOB DUTIES

  • Assist in network design and implementation
  • Provide network support with a variety of operating systems
  • Install and configure computer network equipment
  • Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations
  • Provide network support to users
  • Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services and settings
  • Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades
  • Monitor network to ensure optimal performance
  • Create and maintain network users / permissions
  • Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility

The IS Network Administrator assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts
  • Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills
  • Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of computing infrastructures
  • Familiarity with server management and monitoring tools
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving ability
  • Proficiency with scripting languages
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field, required
  • 2+ years’ experience in a network administration role, required
  • Cisco CCNA certification, preferred
  • Experience with VMWare server environments, preferred
  • Experience with Avaya Telephony digital and IP solutions, preferred
  • Experience with Cisco switches and routers, preferred
