Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support the Galley as a Food Service Associate on the Savannah Campus beginning Fall 2024.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities
- Prepares fresh food items
- Stocks inventory
- Provides customer service functions such as greeting customers and operating cash registers to complete cash and credit transactions
- Keeps kitchen and dining room areas clean and neat
- Works with various kitchen equipment
- Empties trash cans
- Fills condiment dispensers
- Vacuums as needed
Shift Specifics
- Up to 25 hours per week
- Flexible with schedule of availability
- 2 positions : 7am-12pm (M / W / F / Sa / Su)
- 2 positions : 7am-12pm (Tu / Th / F / Sa / Su)
- 2 positions : 10am-3pm (M / W / F / Sa / Su)
- 2 positions : 10am-3pm (Tu / Th / F / Sa / Su)
- 2 positions : 2 : 30pm-7 : 30pm (M / W / F / Sa / Su)
- 2 positions : 2 : 30pm-7 : 30pm (Tu / Th / F / Sa / Su)
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University
Proposed Salary
$10.00 per hour
