To succeed in this role, you must be an excellent communicator who can take in complex information, evaluate it, and quickly organize it into a coherent message.
Your ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks will help keep us organized and on schedule, and you should also be thrilled by the idea of working with the newest and coolest products in a casual setting.
This job will require you to have a flexible schedule, so you need to be self-motivated, comfortable taking on new tasks without much direction.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain stock levels of high-demand items.
- Act as a liaison between the company and its suppliers.
- Conduct wine demonstrations in our new Airport wine tasting bar. Staff the wine tasting bar when not assisting buyer.
- Assist Wine Buyer at winery tastings and negotiating for semi exclusive wine supplies.
Qualified candidates will be knowledgable about Oregon wines and wineries and have prior experience buying wines for a retailer.
