We are a vibrant, growing parish seeking a full-time Director of Accounting who is a strong servant leader with the ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment.
The Director of Accounting will use this position to strengthen and uphold the Pastor's vision and become an effective member of the Saint William staff.
Job Summary : As a key adviser to the Pastor and COO on all financial and business related aspects of Saint William Catholic Church, the Director of Accounting is responsible for leading and overseeing the financial policies and direction for the church including, but not limited to : budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, financial administration, and financial planning.
These functions must be performed in such a manner as to enable the financial success of Saint William and to ensure the parish is a good steward of the financial gifts entrusted to them.
This leadership is guided by the necessary approvals from the Pastor and COO, in conjunction with the Diocesan accounting and internal control procedures, and the Parish finance council.
