We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Manager to join our Commercial Tax Services team located in our New York City office.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Review tax returns (1065, 1120S & 1120) and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Research and analyze tax issues and filing requirements that affect tax compliance, using internal revenue code, treasury regulations and other relevant authorities / guidance
- Draft tax technical memorandums
- Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverable development
- Provide regular performance feedback as well as deliver timely performance evaluations
- Develop subordinates' technical and industry skills and encourage growth
- Demonstrate initiative, vision, resourcefulness, creativity, and independent thinking
YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have :
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting / Taxation preferred
- CPA, JD or EA preferred
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
- Strong tax research skills
- Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills, as well as exceptional client service skills
- Proven competence with MS Office and tax compliance and research software, including GoSystem, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH and RIA
