Down South Fleet invites experienced full-time Certified Master Diesel Technicians to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. We offer an attractive compensation package with an hourly rate of $40, along with an exceptional work environment, medical / dental insurance, and 1 week of paid vacation after 12 months of service .

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED MASTER DIESEL TECHNICIAN
As a Certified Master Diesel Technician, your day begins with a team meeting to discuss objectives and tasks. You focus on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, emphasizing air brake and fuel systems.
With great attention to detail, you conduct vehicle inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaboration with your team members is essential for efficient issue resolution and smooth workflow, and you easily work alongside every coworker, making sure every task not only gets done but gets done well.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification in diesel mechanics (preferred)
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
