Job Details
Our prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in construction defect law experience, civil defense litigation, general liability defense litigation, professional liability defense, insurance defense, managing associates, and trial experience.
This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents, and advise clients on legal matters
- Manage a team of associates and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest level of legal services are provided to clients
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure the best possible outcome for clients
- Prepare and present cases in court, including trials, hearings, and depositions
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and draft settlement agreements
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
- Attend mediations, arbitrations, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing
- 2+ years of experience in construction defect law experience, civil defense litigation, general liability defense litigation, professional liability defense, insurance defense, and trial experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional legal services to clients
