In this role you will be responsible for the daytodaymanagement of group home facilities ensuring the health safety anddevelopment of both residents and staff.
Your leadership will beinstrumental in creating a supportive and nurturingenvironment.
KeyResponsibilities :
- FacilityManagement : Oversee the daily operations of assignedgroup homes ensuring overall health safety anddevelopment.
- RelationshipBuilding : Create meaningful relationships withindividuals served and implement personcentered supportplans.
- Service PlanImplementation : Develop and implement individualservice plans in collaboration with theteam.
- Supervision : Independently supervise all functions of the group home includingstaff andresidents.
- Scheduling : Schedule staff shifts and approve earned time ensuring adequatecoverage.
- CommunityEngagement : Schedule and participate in variouscommunity outings withresidents.
- AdministrativeDuties : Maintain group home facilities and performnecessary administrativetasks.
- Transportation : Transport individuals served to appointments and communityactivities.
- AdditionalDuties : Perform other duties asassigned.
Qualifications :
- Education : Highschool diploma or GED required; bachelors degree in human servicesor related fieldpreferred.
- Experience : Demonstrated experience working with individuals with IDDpreferred; supervisory experiencepreferred.
- Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills organizationalskills.
- Flexibility : Must be flexible with hours and available oncall daily for assignedhomes.
- Requirements : Reliable transportation valid Alabama drivers license and abilityto pass preemployment screening.
PhysicalRequirements :
- Frequentlifting standing walking driving pulling restraining and walking upand down stairs.
- Ability to perform outdoorphysical activities.
