From your PASSION to ours

Perform the Accounts Payable function for the Accounting Department, assisting with administrative functions and providing backup for other functions in the department as needed.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include :

• Perform Accounts Payable function for the facility. Includes accurate and timely processing of invoices for payment.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Answer all inquiries from vendors pertaining to the Accounts Payable function promptly and courteously.
• Work with Corporate Accounts Payable on any invoice payment issues.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Maintain the W-9 files for vendors and prepare new vendor paperwork for submission to Master Data.
• Respond to customer service department and auditor
• Receive mail from the guard shack and disperse mail accordingly amongst the team.
• Continually review processes and make recommendations for improvements.
• Assist other functions in accounting as needed.
• Assist as the backup for GMP inputs.
• Month-end tasks including reconciliations, ad-hoc reporting, general journal entries, etc.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following :

• 1 year of Accounts Payable experience is required.
• Associate's degree preferred in business or accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge base of Accounting processes is required.
• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is required.
• SAP experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to multitask and work in a team environment
