SMG MidAtlantic Cardiothoracic - HH is now hiring a Full-Time Ambulatory Registered Nurse in Norfolk, VA!

ALL QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL RECEIVE A $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!

Hours : Monday-Friday, 8a-4 : 30p. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS, or WEEKENDS!

This position includes the following duties : Pre-visit planning for our cardiac clinic patients to include note prep and pre-operative risk assessments.

Cardiac referral management including scheduling the appointments. Entering external result orders to coordinate advanced imaging.

Occasional rooming of cardiac, aortic or thoracic patients. Coordinating patient care with our cardiology structural heart colleagues.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license (VA or Compact)
• ASN, BSN, or MSN
• Cardiac experience preferred

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse develops, implements and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care.

Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications :

N-2YR - RN-Associate's Degree, N-3YR - RN-Diploma (Non-degree), N-4YR - RN-Bachelor's Level Degree, N-6YR - RN-Master's Level Degree, N-DN - RN-Doctorate Level Degree

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact / Multi-State License
