We are at the forefront of developing advanced humanoid robots designed for household use. Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids.

As we transition from R&D to full-scale manufacturing, we seek an experienced and motivated developer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for helping us develop a user experience that delights our users. Collaborating closely with the broader product development teams, you will play a vital role in everything from wireframing to deployment.

The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering, with extensive expertise and experience in frontend development.

We are looking for individuals with hands-on experience, and a proactive "get-things-done" attitude, who excel in both long-term strategic planning and day-to-day execution of practical tasks.

Within one month, you will...

• contribute to the design of multiple touchpoints.
• get hands-on time and take part in testing design prototypes.
• help shape internal processes and development methodologies.
• get familiar with our bipedal humanoid platform NEO.

Within three months, you will

• own one or several work streams.
• perform prototype testing and evaluation with users.
• work to implement rapid and constant improvements.
• help implement best practices and methodologies that you have learned.

Within one year, you will

• be an integral part of our team.
• actively contribute towards shaping our design strategy.
• contribute to shaping product development, based on our understanding of our customers' wants and needs.

Responsibilities :

• Help establish and evolve our methodology for creating exceptional user experiences across our platforms.
• Be proactive and hands-on through our journey of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of new features and improvements to user interfaces.

Must-Haves :

• 5+ years of proven professional design experience, ideally from in-house technology development or consulting.
• Demonstrated and documented knowledge of how to develop consumer-grade user experiences.
• Technical proficiency in appropriate tools (Sigma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, Balsamiq, Axure RP, Hotjar, Maze, UserTesting).
• A clear interest in how people act and think.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written skills.

Nice-To-Haves :

• Experience in working on technology projects and with roboticists.
• Familiarity with implementing user testing frameworks to monitor user engagement and ensure product fit.
• A degree in a design-adjacent field, such as psychology, sociology, cognitive science, or economics.

Final Interview Stage - we move you to our final round :

• 30m Conversation with CEO Bernt Øivind Børnich, to be scheduled based on need
• We will conduct reference checks.
• 15m Job Offer Conversation with Win Yu and / or Per Ivar Selvaag

Our new headquarters in Moss, Norway, is a short train ride from Oslo. The facility is designed to be state-of-the-art, with a variety of 3D printers, an electronics lab, and controls test studio.
