Responsibilities

Job Title : Senior Consultant / Trainer Education Strategies

Blocker Education works directly with senior education leaders in the K-12 sector to solve challenging problems, develop long-term strategies, guide change management, and support implementation.

Project work includes providing strategic direction and technical assistance in support of effective educational systems.

Specific Responsibilities :

• Serve as project manager and subject matter expert in K-12 education.
• Lead organizational analysis consulting projects for school districts and state education agencies.
• Analyze and interpret federal and state policies, laws, and regulations related to the public education sector.
• Review and provide expertise in business operations for service and efficiency improvements.
• Develop, execute, and lead new growth strategies.
• Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on sales leads.
• Independently manage complex projects, staff, and tasks with limited supervision.
• Develop communication plans with clients.
• Identify and elicit requirements from key stakeholders in each engagement.
• Facilitate client discussions with executive-level client leadership.
• Plan and monitor ongoing project tasks.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Assess best practices and provide technical assistance to clients.
• Lead proposal writing teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts, and preparing proposal submissions.
• Prepare other written reports and materials for clients.
• Manage daily project functions and client interaction.

Qualifications

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree required. A graduate degree is preferred.

Experience :

10+ years of relevant work experience. Work experience in a School District Central Office or State Department of Education is preferred.

Working Conditions :

Remote office. San Antonio, Texas location preferred. National travel depends on client needs.

Compensation for roles at Blocker Education varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
