DESCRIPTIONCarry out sourcing activities with full consideration for the impact of those activities on the end-to-end supply chain.
Lead analysis projects and initiatives providing coaching to less experienced analysts and specialists. Conduct complex analysis of markets, supply chains and supply base to apply to purchasing process improvement initiatives.
Establish and control product and service costs using knowledge of Cost and Value Management to deliver and track product and services at competitive prices.
Utilize knowledge of systems and process development to improve and complete work at a team and department level and work to eliminate system and process inefficiencies and roadblocks.
Utilize knowledge of all elements of supplier risk and sourcing tools to identify and manage supplier risk by performing supplier risk analysis, including financial analysis and identifying potential supply chain disruptions.
Implement Quality Management including Corrective and Preventive Action activities and procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Manage supplier relationship using agreed processes to consistently deliver value to the organization and the suppler. Establish and develop category strategies using Total Value Performance (TVP) approach to define the Supply Base, Tooling and Technology Strategy to meet all current and future needs.
Perform complex financial analysis for select contracts, interpret the results, draw conclusions, provide guidance and influence decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIESPositions require a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics or related field and 3 years of experience as a Sourcing or Supply Chain Analyst or Planner, Functional Excellence or Sourcing Specialist or related position.
