We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our esteemed team. A love for exotic animals a plus!

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality veterinary care with a focus on client communication and patient welfare.

Responsibilities :

  • Utilize our state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including radiography (digital X-rays), digital dental X-rays, ECG, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory, to uncover the root of your patients' medical mysteries.
  • Work with our team of dedicated professionals to provide rapid and accurate diagnoses, ensuring that no tail goes untucked and no whisker goes unexamined.
  • Collaborate with owners to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their pets unique needs.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary diagnostics and technology.
  • Maintain meticulous records of diagnostic tests and results, because when it comes to pet health, details matter.

Qualifications :

  • Veterinarian degree (DVM) from an accredited college or university.
  • Current State Veterinary License.
  • DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
  • Experience overseeing Veterinary Technicians and Assistants as well as other hospital or practice staff.
  • Must demonstrate a desire to continue learning in veterinary care and participate in leading staff training.

Position Knowledge and Skill Requirements :

  • Excellent Communication Skills and the ability to communicate effectively, efficiently, and in a timely manner with all members of the Medical and Hospital staff.
  • Client communication skills, must be able to elicit information, establish rapport, offer explanations with pet owners.
  • Display confidence and reassurance when dealing with pets experiencing severe stress, illness, or pain.
  • May include some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Some tasks involve the periodic performance of moderately physically demanding work.
  • Position does require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
