Summary of Job Function :
Courion is seeking a Machine Operator, who under the direction of the Assembler and Components
Supervisor will form and label all sheet metal for jobs on the floor.
Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of machine tool capabilities
- Ability to set up and operate NC Press & Mechanical Brake with limited training.
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification a plus).
- Excellent Communication and time management skills

Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include :
- Read and utilize measuring equipment, such as tape measures, micrometers, squares, protractors, etc., and utilize mathematics to verify job requirements, specifications and maintain quality controls.
- Read dimensions and accurately adjust the brake setup as necessary to produce desired results.
- Set up and operate brake press centers to build various items from blueprints.
- Perform basic machine maintenance.
- Read and interpret shop / cad drawings and blueprints to conform to specifications.
- Inspect products and evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Hazards
- Factory Environment with temperature variations
- Warehouse Environment with heavy forklift traffic
