If so, we have a wonderful opportunity at our clinic for a mental health therapist. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible.
Our ideal candidate holds a current LMHC license (licensed mental health counselor) and has 1-3 years of experience counseling mental health patients.

$50 - $70 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need
- Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient’s mental health status
- Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care
- Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient
- Maintain a caseload of 25-30 clinical hours / per week
- Keep all case files organized and up to date
- Must be available some evenings
- Attend monthly staff and case consultation meetings
Qualifications :
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Additional certifications required : CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting
- Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent is required
- High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred
