Summary : Seeking experienced Heat Treat Operators with expertise in equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Job Requirements :
HS diploma or equivalent
5 to 10 years' experience in heat treating
Expert-level knowledge of heat treating equipment and processes
Familiarity with AMS 2750 & AMS 2769
Ability to work any shift, including weekends and overtime
Forklift operation certification (must obtain and maintain)
Proficiency in English
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Microsoft Office and databases
Job Responsibilities :
Operate, control, and monitor heat treating equipment per standard procedures
Troubleshoot and repair vacuum furnaces (programs, leak testing, pump / motor repairs)
Perform furnace calibrations and uniformity surveys
Conduct training for other operators on furnace operation
Serve as plant-wide SME on furnaces & ovens
Program and run various furnace / oven controllers
Report unusual problems to supervisor
Promote safety and good housekeeping practices
Care for inventory treatment
Pay Details : $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
