Risk Management Analyst

Location : Richmond, VA

The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the department regarding all aspects of the corporate insurance program.

Gathers, coordinates, and maintains the exposure / underwriting information for applicable insurance renewals.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to :

• Claim related functions such as reporting incidents and claims to carriers, providing updates, claims reviews and serving as a liaison between Legal and carriers on covered claim events and litigation
• Policy maintenance functions such as issuing certificates, requesting applicable endorsements, ensuring receipt of renewed policies
• Renewal-related functions such as collecting and maintaining exposure / underwriting data for applicable renewals, ensuring receipt of all policies, binders and invoices
• Business unit support functions such as assisting with compiling data required for audits, producing loss runs, supporting the Med Mal and Cyber programs
• Department related functions such as paying and researching invoices, reconciling data files, and assisting with creating presentations and coordinating meetings

Minimum Requirements :

Requires a BA / BS; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

Minimum of 3 years of experience in business insurance or risk management preferred.
