Position Overview :

K2 has a position open at our corporate office in Allen Park, MI for a Warehouse Technician / Dispatcher who will be responsible for the overall coordination of personnel, equipment and supplies needed to service multiple internal and external customer requests.

Typical duties will include :

• Receiving calls from customers and scheduling work accordingly
• Manage DOT related documents such as mileage logs, vehicle inspection reports, etc.
• Manage operations related documents such as dispatch sheets, material requisitions, daily job reports, etc.
• Maintain general appearance, cleanliness, housekeeping of the warehouse facility; may be required to perform weather related duties (snow removal, cleaning off equipment exposed to the elements)
• Inspect all equipment returned from work sites
• Load and unload material, product and supplies from trucks and trailers
• Pick up equipment and supplies from vendor, deliver as needed to sites
• Coordinating with management on the availability of personnel, equipment and supplies
• Daily scheduling of personnel
• Daily scheduling of equipment
• Load / unload vehicles and trailers
• Inspect returning vehicles for cleanliness, damage, fuel level, etc.
• Observe all safety policies and regulations including use of personal protective equipment, safe driving practices and maintain a drivers license
• Be available for work as needed with on call expectations

Minimum Qualifications include :

• High school diploma or GED
• Michigan Chauffeur s license
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Familiar with the materials, equipment and supplies used in industrial cleaning
• Familiar with dispatch and warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology
• Proper phone and email etiquette
• Ability to work industry seasonal outages such as holidays, weekends and off shift hours
• Previous Dispatching experience a plus
• Prefer 1 year of industrial related experience or warehouse work
