Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay.

University of South Florida Tampa General Physicians (USFTGP) was created through an advanced affiliation between The University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital to provide advanced care to patients and their families throughout Florida.

Specialties include cardiology, endocrinology, hepatology, organ transplantation, pediatrics, primary care, neurology, OBGYN, neurosurgery & orthopedics.

Responsible for processing all insurance refunds in accordance with refund processing procedures; review insurance payment amounts to determine if appropriate levels of reimbursement are being met;

contacting various insurance companies to resolve problems relating to insurance takebacks and overpayments.

Qualifications

Must be fluent and able to conduct business in English which includes reading, writing and speakingEducational Requirements : Education High School diplomaExperience Requirements : Ability to operate a PC, two years of relevant job experience in a medical or insurance office.

Business Skill Requirements : Required : Typing & 10 key, Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented and possess accurate arithmetic skills.

Skills Preferred : Extensive knowledge of cash posting principles, working knowledge of CPT / ICD-10 coding and insurance company reimbursement policies.
