Latitude is seeking an experienced commercial litigator to join a boutique full-service Connecticut-based law firm focused on sophisticated commercial litigation for small businesses.

This is an immediate need for a 3-month engagement, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Interested candidates should have at least 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation, handling discovery responses, research and writing, and individual case management.

Excellent academic credentials are a must. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Connecticut.

Requirements for the CT Commercial Litigation Attorney :

  • 3+ years of commercial litigation experience required
  • Licensed to practice and in good standing in Connecticut
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
  • Excellent research and writing skills

Position Details of the CT Commercial Litigation Attorney :

  • Type of Role : Engagement; Engagement-to-Permanent
  • Schedule : Part-time or Full-time
  • Location : Fully remote (but preference given to CT candidates)

Compensation

  • Pay : The annualized pay for this position ranges from $160,000-$190,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, and market supply / demand.
  • Benefits : In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage.

All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance.

A qualified 401K plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
