Position Purpose :

Under direction, loads and unloads trucks. Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Job Activities :

Comparing and identifying information and counting, weighs, or measuring items of incoming

shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders,

or other records.

• Prepare items for shipment (scan label, place on a skid and identify the containers). Move shipments in the transportation unit with a forklift.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipment; rejects damaged items; records shortages, and

corresponds with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages.

• Routes items to appropriate departments, when applicable.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Maintains the integrity of all documentation and properly records the information according to departmental procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Experience (North America & LATAM) :

• High School diploma preferred
• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, demonstrating good organizational and attention to detail skills preferred
• Ability to work with a computer database
• Ability and experience driving a forklift. Forklift certification is a plus.
• Available to work on an evening schedule : Tuesday to Friday 3 : 00 to 11 : 30 pm and Saturday 8am to 4 : 30 pm
