STS Group is a globally leading supplier of components and systems for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries headquartered in France.

The Adler Pelzer Group, a global Tier 1 supplier recently acquired STS group to expand its target market. STS is pioneering operations of Class A surface components for the heavy trucks in the USA.

We are seeking an experienced IT Technician Admin to support the opening of the brand-new STS facility near Salem, Virginia in the Roanoke, VA area.

The IT Technician Admin assists the Information Technology utilized by the operating facilities under the direction of the Corporate Information Technology, with additional direction of facility management.

This role is based out of our Salem, Virginia location.

Responsibilities of the IT Technician Admin :

This section is not inclusive. Other duties may be assigned as necessary)

• Front tier user helpdesk support.
• Windows 10 PCs, laptops, and office printers.
• TCP / IP Networking, Troubleshooting, Support, and Maintenance.
• Office 365 email administration.
• PC hardware support.
• Windows 2008 / 2016 server support with Active Directory.
• Maintain backup of vital data stored on the server.
• Troubleshooting Line Printers and Handheld scanners.
• Inventory of IT related items.
• Maintain the telecommunication system.
• Accepts assignments and other responsibilities as required to support team objectives.

Requirements of the IT Technician Admin :

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support function with strength in Windows 10. Windows Server 2008 & later, Telecommunications
• Previous experience with Covisint, SAP, scanners and line printers is a plus.
• Strong personal traits, organizational and communication abilities.
• Good computer (MS Office) skills, verbal skills, and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to learn quickly the company software applications.
• Strong personal leadership, vision, organizational and communication abilities, technical and mechanical background desirable.
• Documentation skills for existing systems.
• Production or plant floor support would be a plus.

• Salary range is $68,000-$83,000 / annually. Specific salary is commensurate with experience and factors such as relevant experience, education, certifications, and licenses, skills, and training.
