Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Logistics, or relevant field; APICS and / or Supply Chain Management certification preferred.
- 5+ years' experience as a Materials or Supply Chain Manager.
- Proficient in database management (Microsoft Excel, others), manufacturing processes, and leadership.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, multitask, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Desired Highlighted Experience : Purchasing, Planning, Shipping; Senior-level management; ERP implementation and process optimization.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the preparation of the master schedule and database enhancement for development.
- Release requirements to the shop floor, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure accuracy and enhance the ERP system and other company databases / files.
- Maintain detailed records on procurement activity, supplier performance, and shop routings.
- Supervise, evaluate, and coach team members.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships while negotiating pricing and delivery.
- Establish and enforce departmental procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
- Facilitate information flow and cooperation between Engineering, Manufacturing, and relevant areas.
- Coordinate and supervise Receiving, Shipping, and Warehousing procedures.
