State Farm Agency, located in Palos Verdes Estates, CA is currently looking for a talented, caring, professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.
This is a position focused on Customer Service for a well-established State Farm Agent. Must have an active Property and Casualty and Life and Health insurance license.
Recent or current insurance experience is highly preferred.
If you have a talent for customer care and understand the needs and motivations of people, we want you on our team! As our Customer Service Representative, youll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience.
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Answer phones and greet clients.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options. You will receive :

Requirements
- Insurance Customer Service experience
- State Farm experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Proactive in problem solving
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
- Ability to effectively relate to a customer
- Property Casualty license
- Life and Health license
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
