Seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join practice in northern Montana.
The Hospitalist will facilitate a continuum of care for patients from admission through the discharge process, including facilitating the patient’s transfer of care back to the primary provider.
The Hospitalist will consult, make referrals to physicians and other healthcare team members, and help organize the workload and facilitate provider groups to streamline patient care.
Facility Overview
- A 19 inpatient bed acute care hospital, with 3 OR’s and 7 EM beds, growing to nearly four (4) times its size in the next 2-3 years.
- Open ICU, adding ten (10) new ICU beds.
- A state-of-the-art facility, including OR / PACU, clinics, and in-house PT / Imaging.
Work Schedule
- Flexible Monday through Friday schedule.
- Willing to consider four (4) day work week.
- No call requirement.
- Quick access to supporting specialists and emergent care.
- Experienced, long-term physicians on staff including two (2) Hospitalists and three (3) Advanced Practitioners.
Qualifications
- One-two (1-2) years of inpatient experience required (critical care, cardiology, or catheterization lab experience preferred).
- Current Montana license or eligibility.
