As a BMC Digital Marketing Strategist, you are a data-driven, detail-oriented tactician responsible for implementing, tracking and reporting on the digital marketing strategy for a portfolio of 38 multifamily properties and 46 commercial properties located throughout Washington D.
C., Maryland and Virginia. The Digital Marketing Strategist's primary duties will include establishing and reporting on KPIs across digital marketing channels and identifying insights and opportunities to support the department's overall strategy.
This role may have supervisory responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities*
- Work with contracted agencies to develop strategic marketing and advertising strategies through Google PPC & remarketing channels
- Utilize Rent Café and third-party CMS to ensure property and corporate websites are fully optimized, and that content is accurate
- Ensure company's ILS accounts include up-to-date images and information, and that all capabilities are being optimized
- Maintain company's Google Business Profiles, ensuring profiles include the latest information and are optimized for user experience
- Maintain and optimize KPI dashboards for internal reporting on marketing ROI. Utilize data to provide monthly reporting and strategy recommendations based on performance.
- Coordinate with property teams and revenue management to ensure leasing incentives are up-to-date and incorporated throughout all digital marketing channels on a daily basis
- Manage online reputation through Reputation.com and support survey implementation and data collection
- Partner with marketing team members to create and implement comprehensive lease-up strategies
- Troubleshoot digital marketing systems as needed including but not limited to website, ILS listings, Google Business profiles virtual tours, Craigslist postings, and Reputation.com
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and vendors on a regular basis via both in-person and virtual platforms
- Support ongoing efforts to research, test and incorporate new marketing products and tools as needed
- Visit communities routinely and maintain communication with property teams regarding digital marketing strategy and property-specific KPI reporting
- Provide occasional support for marketing activations including open house events, exhibitions, and trade shows
- Assist in planning and maintaining digital marketing budgets
- Other functions and special projects as assigned by supervisor
- Coordinate timely and accurate coding of all marketing invoices for approval

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in software including YardiRent Café, Yardi MarketingIQ, Canva, WordPress, Microsoft Office Suite

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in residential property management or marketing
- 3-5 years of experience managing paid search, ILS and SEO strategies
