Due to sustained expansion in our Cities & Places sector, we are seeking a seasoned leader to drive our growth further. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our services by leveraging recent achievements.

With a focus on real estate strategies encompassing corporate real estate, retail, sports, and entertainment, this role demands a deep understanding of New York property.

As a strategic enterprise leader, you will also need a global perspective to facilitate triple-digit growth not only locally but also nationally and internationally.

Reporting to the President of our Americas business, you will own and deliver the sector plan and lead the Mace vision to market, growing and evolving sector propositions, pipeline and revenue to exceed targets.

DEVELOPING OUR VISION & STRATEGY

  • Working collaboratively to exchange market, competitor and industry insights with Business Unit Directors, Global Market Leads and Global Hub Leads to inform the development of the strategy.
  • Defines the enablers and investments required to deliver the strategy - feeding into business planning.
  • Develops a sector plan including a focus on future clients, services, programmes & opportunities, using competitor analysis and business performance data, engaging key stakeholders including CoE representation and Client Account Leads for client insights.
  • Shares strategies and priorities with Marcomms to inform thought leadership focus, and Client Account Leads to inform client relationship management.
  • Understands the business direction and priorities, works with senior leadership, and supports line managers in translating into practical plans.

MARKETING & SELLING OUR SERVICES

Develops a deep understanding of the market, the competitors, and the client base, to define needs and assess against the service offer.

identifies growth opportunities and opportunities to maximise our competitive advantage.

  • Leads and influences overall growth in sector net revenue and pipeline to meet targets including margins whilst implementing Sector specific initiatives.
  • Enhances brand value and personal positioning in the market, developing thought leadership, building visibility through conferences etc, and implements sector marketing and communications to establish profile.
  • Develops reputation of Mace Consult in the industry and sector, in line with strategy and positioning the business for opportunities.
  • Seeks out new opportunities and engages with Client Account Leads, CoEs and wider subject matter experts in the development of joint strategies for client growth for existing clients and support of new client bids.

Focuses on expanding service lines.

  • Engages with the Global Market and Global Hub Lead in the development of joint strategies for client growth, targets new clients and supports client bids.
  • Manages the sector pipeline and feeds opportunities into the Global Market pipeline to ensure an optimal flow of pursuits and achieve agree targets regionally and globally.
  • Cascades sector strategy and ensures teams understand their role in seeking and identifying selling opportunities in line with the strategy.
  • With Business Unit Director identifies and appoints accountable role / individual who will be responsible for lead market to opportunity.
  • Provides intelligence to global market pursuits and inputs with knowledge and resources.
  • Leads and supports regional pursuits by contributing tailored Hub Sector insights and value propositions to address specific client needs.
  • Takes a supporting lead role in the bid process and the setup of major opportunities in the Sector and may act as the bid lead on strategic / gold grade pursuits.

DELIVERING OUR SERVICES

  • Leads connectivity and flow of information to support wider focus on clients and development of collateral to support growth.
  • Manages and mitigates business and commission risks, driving compliance with corporate governance, monitoring compliance with internal procedures.
  • Maintains a clear picture of the commissions in the pipeline.
  • Oversees resourcing for Sector, when appropriate engaging with Recruiter and Commission Lead to review availability of resources, minimising time on the bench and proactively planning for demobilisation activities.
  • Identifies sector-based training and development requirements and allocates resources to deliver.
  • Engages leaders to ensure constant live Sector based knowledge share.
  • Accountable for the sector carbon numbers and ensures that they are accurately tracked.

COMPENSATION

  • This role is paying between 250,000 275,000 plus bonus and benefits.
