Tax Accountant
Jacksonville, FL (On-Site)
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Tax Accountant to join our client's team in Jacksonville, FL for an established and growing CPA Firm.
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting and tax preparation background, with a proven track record of preparing and reviewing tax returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, and individual clients.
This full-time, hybrid position offers a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and review tax returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, and individual clients.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws.
Assist clients with tax planning and provide strategic tax advice.
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns.
Review and analyze financial statements and reports.
Mentor and guide junior staff members.
Communicate effectively with clients to address their tax-related queries and concerns.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
CPA certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax preparation and review.
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in using tax preparation software (experience with clients is a plus).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
