UX Designer - Financial Services

Our financial services client is looking for a UX Designer for an ongoing contract position. The role is on-site in Downtown Los Angeles.

As a UX Designer, you will be a key member of a dynamic product design team supporting web and app-specific initiatives around financial services.

Responsibilities :

Support the end-to-end UX design process for web and mobile from concept ideation to final implementationConduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs, pain points and behaviorsCreate wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your design concepts and solutionsCollaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of design solutionsConduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs based on user insights and dataStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile and native app design and actively share your knowledge and insights with the teamAdvocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization, fostering a culture of empathy and user advocacyQualifications :

4+ years of product design experienceProduct design experience within the finance industry and samples to presentOnline portfolio showcasing your UX design skills for financial servicesBachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.

g., UX design, human-computer interaction, graphic design)Proficiency in design tools such as FigmaSolid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologiesExperience in conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing and surveysStrong knowledge of mobile app design guidelines and best practices for iOS and Android platformsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and solutionsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple projects and priorities
