Job Title : Finance Manager
Job Description
This position reports to another leader within the Americas CoE organization and is responsible for designated activities relatively broad in scope with a primary focus in the operational accounting track.
These activities may include, but are not limited to, various areas of financial accounting and reporting covering a scope of activities considered financially significant to the company, using criteria similar to that used to determine financial significance for Sarbanes-Oxley purposes, which may include multiple sites, a single site, or a major portion of a business group.
This position also works across business groups in various areas. This position may also participate in due diligence and post-acquisition activities for the group or for other groups.
Hard Skills
- 8+ years in progressive accounting
- 5+ years in management
- Cost accounting / analysis experience
Soft Skills
- Leading a team of finance professionals and / or supervisors
- Effectively managing department resources by recruiting, retaining, coaching and developing team members
- Providing guidance and support of accounting professionals for sales, use and other statutorily required tax
- Acting as a financial consultant to non-finance leaders and members in the organization
- Coordinating internal control monitoring (including SOX) and external and internal audits
- Participating in strategic planning and preparing and interpreting analysis
- Supporting business analysis activities for various financial decisions
- Analyzing and interpreting monthly, quarterly and annual financial results
- Effectively communicating financial results and the results of financial analysis

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Fort Collins, Colorado and some days remote.
Work Environment
Team of 5 they would oversee (2 Sr. Analysts, 2 Accountant II’s, 1 Sr. Accountant). The culture is light-hearted, with a preference for someone who is easy-going and not extreme in behaviors or attitudes.
The environment is supportive and uplifting, with no micro-managing, empowering team members with responsibilities. Training includes standard onboarding by HR and working with the hiring manager for overview and expectations of the role.
