Forklift/Machine Operator.

Atlas Staffing has an opening for a Forklift Operator / Machine Operator to work in a Warehouse / Production Line work environment, do you have open availability?

Atlas Staffing is seeking for a reliable candidate to work with one of our clients in Selah, WA!

Pay : $20.02 / Hr.

Shift : Mon-Fri (weekend if needed) 7 : 00am-3 : 00pm (end time fluctuates based on production)

Training : Train on days for about 2 weeks and then switch to either swing or grave.

Forklift operator to also take responsibility for the sauce process while maintaining appropriate solids, brix, Guar gum, and sulfite levels to meet process and customer specifications.

This includes selecting appropriate fruit blends and rework product, completing product testing and analysis, maintaining appropriate temperatures, feed rates, and pressures of equipment for efficient processing, and achieving a steady flow of sauce to the Drum Dry process.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure Efficient Operation of Sauce Process and Equipment
• Maintain Appropriate Solids, Guar Gum, Sulfite, and Brix Levels to Meet Customer Specifications

Operate Forklift

• Transport and dump fruit, rework, and decanter solids into hopper and process as needed
• Return and stack empty bins in lot
• Reconstitute Rework Product

Complete Paperwork and Computer Inputting Accurately

Communicate Effectively

Maintain GMPs

Ensure Food Safety by Following Food Safety Plan

Lock-Out Tag-Out

Education :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience :

• 1-2 years of Machine operations
• Forklift Certification current or pass

TECHNOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process failures.
• Knowledgeable of complete process and how positions relate to one another.
• Understanding of Lab tests and analysis to be accomplished.
• Skilled in testing procedures and use of analytical equipment and specification information.
• Leading in competency in a Clear and concise communications to Drum Dry
• Understanding and meeting Fruit Blend requirements per product
• Adjusting feed rate setting for Guar Gum and maintaining appropriate levels
• Operating of all Sauce Room equipment
• Maintaining Sauce temperatures and solids
• Ensuring Heat Exchanger temperatures meet specifications

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
