Supply Chain Management (SCM), Americas Region

In this role, you will work a Hybrid work model from Orlando, FL or Alpharetta, GA allowing you a balanced schedule working part-time from home and part-time in the office.

Role Description : As a Procurement BusinessPartner for Indirect Materials, you will :

• Assist in the overall procurement process, includingquotations, statements of work, contract extensions, vendor set-up, andstrategic support of the Siemens request for quote process.
• Support Supplier Management processes such as qualification,selection, evaluation, development, and classification.
• Work closely with internal Siemens customers to ensurecustomer care and early involvement.
• Implement commodity strategies to ensure a long-term,cost-efficient supply of materials.
• Ensure the usage of defined procurement methods, processes,and systems to maintain high process efficiency and compliance.
• Monitor market conditions to decide on the optimum sourcingstrategy and collaborate with the best suppliers for assigned commodities andlocal requirements.
• Prepare and conduct negotiations for medium to highpurchasing volumes to achieve the highest feasible savings.
• Generate, document, and implement savings for Siemens tocontribute to business success.
• Manage and / or assist in the contracting process, includingnegotiating prices, terms, and renewal requirements with domestic andinternational suppliers.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• System and process orientation to include : Advanced Excel,Access, and PowerPoint skills.
• Contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.
• Flexibility and willingness for domestic or internationaltravel up to 20%.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on acontinual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
• 5 years of experience in the procurement field, withexperience in Indirect Materials.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
• Experience in a multinational corporation.
• Strong desire to promote positive change.
• Well-developed communication skills; able to clearly andconcisely express information to customers, peers, and management.
• Ability to interact with multiple customers / divisions.
• Negotiation of requirements and analysis of purchase volume.
• Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independentlyas well as work well in groups.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Management of multiple projects and prioritiessimultaneously.
• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $64,680 110,880 and theannual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered maybe lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge,skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
