Work location : Full-time / Remote

Compensation : Salary base - $75,000 - $105,000

Catalyst is a full-service marketing agency serving off-campus student housing properties, multifamily properties, mixed-use properties, and residential real estate clients.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive, you'll be the driving force behind our sales growth, identifying and developing new business opportunities in the multifamily, student housing, senior living and mixed-use real estate industry.

This position will report to the Chief Sales Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, cold-calling, and online research
  • Place 40-60 calls daily to generate consistent weekly discovery meetings
  • Present Catalyst services confidently and prepare tailored proposals
  • Collaborate with the Chief Sales Officer to meet weekly activity goals and revenue targets
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the agency and prospects during pre-client and onboarding phases
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce for tracking and reporting
  • Attend industry conferences for networking and opportunity building

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in consultative selling, preferably in a services-oriented company
  • Proven track record of revenue growth with a closure rate of over 40% of proposals pitched
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Ability to make 40-60 cold calls per day
  • Positive attitude, coachable mindset, and hunger to learn

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the multifamily or student housing industry is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with property management software
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing new business opportunities
