Job Summary :

A Warehouse Technician is responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing, and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.

Performs all work with the highest quality and efficiency.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Inspects incoming stock / materials for conformity to purchase orders and packing slips.
• Assists in the inventory of warehouse stock and inventory reconciliations. Assists in maintaining warehouse and related tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition Prepares and / or distributes incoming / outgoing mail;

sorts, weighs, and stamps mail Wraps, packs, logs, and otherwise prepares parcels and goods for shipping.

Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities

• Ability to learn safety rules and regulations related to warehouse operations and equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory files and records as assigned.
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment to include delivery vehicles and forklift.
• Understand and follow both oral / written instructions.
• Ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance.
• Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform required duties safely and effectively.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
• Work well both independently and as a member of a high-performance team.
• Punctuality and ability to meet daily schedules.
• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related experience or comparable training preferred.
• Proficient in English speaking and writing; bilingual is desired.

Working Conditions :

• Employee may need to lift up to 50lbs and requires full range of motion.
• Employee will be required to climb 6-ft to 10-ft ladders to access work.
• Employee may come in contact with hazardous material and / or substances while working.

Employment Requirements :

• Must be able to pass all background and drug screens.
• Employee is required to have a good driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Pay Range : $16.00 / hour to $18.00 / hour DOE
