The Controls Engineer will :
- Design & Develop : Create and implement control programs for advanced electrical machinery and systems.
- Collaborate : Work with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate controls into overall system designs.
- Test & Validate : Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure optimal performance of control systems.
- Optimize : Develop, visualize, and refine PLC processes to ensure maximum system efficiency.
- Diagnose & Maintain : Identify faults and perform necessary maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.
- Train : Educate internal and external customers on the proper use and maintenance of PLC systems.
- Support : Provide top-notch customer service and technical support to both internal and external clients.
- Project Manage : Adhere to project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful completion.
- Travel : Visit customer facilities to install, maintain, and upgrade software and hardware as needed, up to 25%.
A qualified Controls Engineer will have :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience : At least 2 years of experience in automated controls engineering.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, with experience in Studio 5000, RS Logix 500, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- Specialized Knowledge : Strong understanding of ladder logic, electrical schematics, and mechanical systems.
- Expertise : Familiarity with Motion and Safety-Over-Ethernet.
