Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences - New Jersey Medical School Department of Pediatrics offers an outstanding opportunity for a Medical Geneticist to join our faculty of more than 30 full-time clinicians and scientists as an Assistant Professor.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

MD degree and board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics and / or Clinical Genetics. Candidate must possess a valid NJ license, CDS and DEA within 90 days of employment.

Certifications / Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Applicant must demonstrate excellence as a clinician educator.

Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment Overview

The candidate will provide patient care in the Division of Clinical Genetics and provide comprehensive evaluation and management for patients with other health care professionals to educate patients and their families about their conditions.

Candidate will participate in the education of medical students. Candidate will actively contribute to the primary missions of the Division of Clinical Genetics through accessible high quality healthcare, scholarly activity and education.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.

Additional infection control and safety policies may apply. Prospective employees should speak with their hiring manager to determine which policies apply to the role or position for which they are applying.
