Azimuth Corporation is seeking an Executive Assistant in Falls Church, VA to provide on-site support to a Government Customer.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter providing executive assistant support and have extensive knowledge in the task management tool CATMS.

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following :

Provide correspondence staffing support to organization action officers using established templates for all required correspondence actions e.

g., formal letters, memoranda, readahead briefing / meeting packages, activity reports, senior leadership reports, and travel / training / personnel documents.

This may include delivery / pickup of documents within the local travel area.

  • Tracking and monitoring external tasks where the supported office has coordination responsibility.
  • Maintaining office files and the office filing system (electronic and hardcopy) in accordance with records management protocols.
  • Ensuring the Director’s daily calendar operations are accomplished in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinating with external senior leadership offices to support the government customer with preparatory material as needed.
  • Preparing and maintaining essential logistic and security requirements for the SCIF.
  • Monitoring access to SCIF, obtaining supplies and facility repairs / services.
  • Managing coordination and scheduling of conference rooms and secure video teleconference suites. Schedule conferences and meetings to include video teleconferencing (VTC).
  • The duties of this position will also include the participation, possibly in both writing and review, in the bid and proposal process for Azimuth's continued work in government contracting.

This participation will be on an as-needed and as-requested basis by personnel in the Business Development department, within corporate, and / or within the supervisory chain of this position.

This position's inclusion in the bid and proposal process is vital to the understanding of duties, responsibilities, tools and function of the position and to proper conveyance for Azimuth's past performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active TS / SCI Clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and contacts and interact diplomatically with high level internal and external senior level personnel is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in : CATMS, Microsoft Office Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience managing, supervising, and conducting administrative functions involving multiple programs including analysis and evaluation on projects and mission objectives.
  • Minimum five years drafting and editing correspondence, briefing slides, and memorandums.
  • Minimum ten years of experience performing action officer responsibilities which includes tracking suspense, staffing packages, and coordinating actions with both internal and external customers, resolving / de-conflicting issues is desired.
  • Experience in a DoD environment.
  • Recent (within last two years) experience on Service, Joint, or Office of Secretary of Defense Staffs.

Physical Requirements / Travel

  • Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
  • May travel 10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
