Job Summary
Adjunct faculty position teaching in clinical or laboratory courses working with undergraduate students in a BSN nursing program.
Clinical / lab teaching could include medical / surgical, mental health, public health, maternal health, and pediatric nursing dependent on current needs of the program.
Responsibilities
Teaching in clinical settings per specialty area
- Teaching in the nursing skills and simulation labs
- Evaluation of students in clinical and / or skills, including performance exams
- Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance diversity and inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline
- Attend scheduled teaching team meetings

Experience
A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in specialty area.
Previous experience as a nurse educator in an academic setting or as a preceptor of students or new nursing employees would be an asset.
Education
Required :
Master's degree in Nursing
Current Minnesota RN Licensure or eligibility
Clinical practice experience in specialty area
