Pines of Sarasota is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Billing Coordinator.
The Billing Coordinator reports to the AR Manager and is responsible for coordinating the resident billing process and assure the proper accounting of receipts from individuals, insurance companies, and governmental entities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Post deposits, balance cash and review entered demographic information for accuracy
- Complete billing and collection for SNF and outpatient services
- Audit patient accounts and adjust for accuracy
- Complete month end close of AR system accurately and timely
- Work with controller and CFO on estimating bad debt reserves
- Maintain billing system master files to ensure accurate processing of all billing transactions.
Requirements
The ideal Billing Coordinator candidate will meet the following requirements :
- Must have prior experience with SNF or LTC billing
- Must be able to monitor billing and collection activities to achieve 100% prior month revenue collections on a monthly basis
- Ability to process claims accurately and timely
- Experience in working with insurance providers and Medicare to resolve claims payment issues required
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide superior service to our Pines residents and their families
