The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients.

A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs / functions for assigned clinic / location of work.

An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

The Journey Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients.

A Journey MA-R performs all aspects of the Associate MA-R role and is fully competent in the clinical needs / functions for assigned clinic / location of work.

A Journey MA-R is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Medical Assistant

Required Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience / training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
• Upon hire : Washington Medical Assistant Certification Or
• Upon hire : Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
• Within 30 days of hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Healthcare experience
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience

Preferred Qualifications :

Coursework / Training Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience / training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam

Medical Assistant, Salary Range :

Spokane, WA Min : $18.50, Max : $28.27

Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $22.19 / hr or higher depending on experience.

Medical Assistant Registered

Required Qualifications :

• Within 60 days of hire Washington Medical Assistant Registration
• Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Healthcare experience
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience

Preferred Qualifications :

Coursework / Training Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator / Clerk

Medical Assistant Registered, Salary Range :

Spokane, WA Min : $17.06, Max : $26.07

Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91 / hr or higher depending on experience.
