We are offering a role in the healthcare industry based in Los Alamitos, California. The job function is akin to a General Office Clerk, with a focus on assisting with order compounding and shipping within a small team environment.
This is a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Follow the compounding schedule to meet production demand in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Operate machinery during the compounding process
- Compound, heat seal, and package all orders following procedure
- Log orders ready to ship after their completion
- Package and ship out all orders within 72 hours of address confirmation
- Confirm with each patient the preferred shipping method and charge via Square portal for all expedited orders
- Print end of day USPS scan sheet and provide to USPS worker
- Remove all shipping orders from sortly inventory and track on metrics
- Utilize skills in Shipping documentation, Shipping Functions, Shipping operations, Shipping & Receiving, and Shipping management to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Must have significant experience in shipping documentation and shipping operations
- Proficiency in managing shipping & receiving tasks
- Ability to handle shipping functions efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrated knowledge of shipping management practices within the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with healthcare-specific shipping requirements and guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills to manage various shipping tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with various departments regarding shipping needs and schedules
- Detail-oriented nature to ensure accurate handling of shipping documentation
- Problem-solving skills to address shipping-related issues and discrepancies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
